Fashion brand Maharishi has announced its first collaboration with Mizuno, set to launch the Mizuno Wave Rider 10 on March 17.
Fans of the environmentally-conscious clothiers will welcome the imprint’s signature military garb, with the Wave Rider rocking out in olive-colored canvas and nubuck. Dubbed “Fire Phoenix,” the London-based label harnesses the theme by decorative embroidery around the sidewalls’ RunBird logo to depict a phoenix. The upper is made of sustainable nubuck and suede, with muted green AIRmesh base layers. The tooling underfoot remains unchanged from the original Wave Rider 10 launch in 2007, with an off-white and drab green colorway. Co-branding can be found on the tongue, heel, and footbed to complete the design.
