uring the Fall of last year, Aimé Leon Dore offered yet another standout collaboration with New Balance: a series of 550s. The silhouette’s official re-introduction, the capsule opened the way for sequels such as a duo of Spring colorways. Now, as we enter Fall 2021, ALD will be bringing back three of the original four colorways for a special online-exclusive release, with the grey, green, and navy options up for grabs.
For all three pairs, you’ll find premium leathers are left with a bright, neutral white visage, allowing for the pilled, “N” logos to stand out right atop the side profile. Elsewhere, further use of their respective color accents can be found along the backside of the tongue, collar, and the Aimé Leon Dore/New Balance logo hits that round off the design.
