Following on from the banger “Desert Shade” Made in England 1530 we unveiled late last weekcomes this gem, the “Joker” New Balance 1530, which forms part of the 1500’s 30th-anniversary celebration.
The all-new 1530 silhouette still keeps its heritage design ethos, but features new 21st-century tech, including the RevLite sole unit, reducing the sneaker’s weight by 30% — which is why the silhouette earns is +30 name. While it is new for 2019, we’ve already seen the silhouette do the rounds — and now it’s back again in another Made in England option, taking on an unmistakable “Joker” colorway of Black, Purple and Green.
Like Gotham City’s psychopathic supervillain, the pair adorns a majority purple, here draping the vamp, tongue, and toebox in luscious suedes, buttery leathers, and classic mesh, before moving into white, green and black nubucks in the rear. White liners, midsoles, and branding add for stark pops of contrast, while black rubber outsoles complete the ook.
