Each and every month, the Teddy Santis helmed ‘Made in USA’ wing lends its premium gaze to the model of the moment, returning to the beloved 992 once more for September, with this month’s effort — the New Balance 990v2 “Chrysanthemum” — leaning on black, navy blue, and bright red hues.

Centered around a navy-mesh base, the pair is struck with swatches of black before statement red suede steals the show. A black suede ‘N’ rests below a plush navy suede tongue with logo embroidery, while the upper is bookended by patches of hairy suede on the toe and heel. Finally, the upper rests on a thick, cream ABZORB midsole sandwiched above a black rubber outsole.
