Following a delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Doernbecher Freestyle will return next month, when the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital will officially unveil the new collection virtually on February 25th.
The Doernbecher Freestyle patient-designers for 2022 include Ayman Wamala, Catalina Vasquez, Cidni O’Brien, Maylee Phelps, Michael Wilson, Sam David Phelps, and Zoe Taaffe. At the time of publication, the utilized footwear designs have not yet been identified.
Since 2004, the program has raised more than $30 million to help save lives, develop new treatments and provide the best care for kids. Proceeds from the event and profits from the sale of the Freestyle collection will benefit Doernbecher’s area of greatest need.
The virtual unveiling of the 2022 Doernbecher Freestyle collection will take place on February 25th at 6:00 pm PST / 9:00 pm EST.
