Though the Air Max 90 is not immediately the first footwear that comes to mind when you mention the 3M reflective finish, the silhouette has seen its fair share of Scotchlite inclusion over the years. Though never marked with any official branding, it finally reached a point an official collaboration between the two long-standing partners from Oregon and Minneapolis will be celebrated. Now, joining the previously-previewed duo of Air Force 1s comes this 3M x Nike Air Force 90 that tributes a union that dates back to the early 1990s.

Dressed in an Anthracite, Volt, and Black color scheme, the pair opts for a mix of ripstop, leather, suede, and metallic finishes, with each intricate panel offering up it’s own unique feature. Toe boxes arrive with embroidered detail, while mid panels depict a hazardous volt and grey pattern. Collars come in a patterned chrome, while shaggy suede mudguards house a vibrant volt branded plate. Laces, in volt and black check, are as busy as the sneaker gets, and the pair is complete with patent leather tongue patches, volt branding in the rear, and semi-translucent rubber outsoles. Oh, and of course, a 3M strike down the profile.

Check out the official photos below, and look for the 3M x Nike Air Max 90 to release in the coming weeks at select retailers and Nike.com for $150.
