Late last week it was unveiled that the DIY velcro Air Force 1 that appeared earlier this year was, in fact, a collaboration with BAIT for Tokyo ComicCon Tokyo. It is based on the model kits proliferated across the Gundam/Mech fan base — a fitting feature for the event. But that’s not the only sliced-up Air Force 1 on the way from the Japanese retailer, with this — dare I say it — rare BAIT x Air Force 1 “A5 Wagyu”, complete with commemorative meal set and thick-cut beef patches.
It’s jet black Velcro base hosts uppers of removable panels in white leather to mix and match as you please, with extra options including fat slices of Wagyu Swooshes and marbled beef BAIT logos, at your disposal. Said extras all arrive tucked away in a sashimi-style box, complete with a set of chopsticks for your convenience.
