Don C Hints at a Nike KD 12 Collaboration

Serial collaborator Don C has been working with Nike and Jordan Brand for a minute now, has just revealed that his next collaborative project will indeed be back in Beaverton, this time taking on back-to-back NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant’s 12th signature sneaker.

In the latest ESPN+ original series The Boardroom, Don C said he’s been working with Nike on Kevin Durant’s next signature shoe, the Nike KD 12.

“I’m working on the KD 12, the stories that we’re telling. The sauce that I think I can add, I want to tell some stories about KD’s inspiration, things that he’s into that we can now message through the product.”

It is unclear if the collaboration is a mere tweak on an already developed silhouette, or if Don played a significant role in the sneaker’s overall design. We are sure that we will find out more over the coming months, as KD’s next chapter in signature sneakers is due to arrive Spring 2019 when the KD 12 is expected to debut.
