    Presto, Preston!

High fashion designer Heron Preston, who has previously worked with notable fashion icons like Virgil Abloh and Kanye West, has been given the nod by Nike to tweak their all-new Huarache E.D.G.E as he sees fit, with the designer set to debut two collaborative colorways next month.

“I’m all about telling stories,” says Preston. “Having worked at Nike and understanding the full breadth of product categories the brand has to offer, I wanted to be the person to take on the challenge of identifying and celebrating new stuff.”

The Huarache E.D.G.E. takes cues from a shoe familiar to Preston, the Huarache Run his first foray with the Beaverton Brand, but re-imagines the bootie fit with a FOAM FIT system that sits the foot directly on the foam rather than a sock liner. Preston adds his unique branding cues (including signature icons on the heel and toe box), granting aesthetic intrigue to the contemporary comfort play.

Both pairs of the Heron Preston x Nike Huarache E.D.G.E. will release exclusively in the States, at select stores and Nike.com on February 1st. Stay tuned for release info!
