Just Dropped // NBA x Nike Air Force 1 “Fiesta”
Nike’s 75th Anniversary Celebration with Nike has birthed some bangers, including Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, and New York Knicks Dunks, but it’s not all about the franchises, it seems, with this new Nike Air Force 1 Low appearing to honor the infamous 1996 NBA All-Star Game in San Antonio — and those fabulous ‘Fiesta’ uniforms.
Revealed today by way of official imagery, the NBA x Nike Air Force 1 “Fiesta” or “96 All-Star” is delivered in mostly white and grey, with the hue hitting the majority of the leather upper and overlays, liners, tongues, and sole units. Here, the accenting features push the retro theme forward, with alternating aqua and golden-yellow Swooshes on the lateral and medial sides respectively. Pink hues are ushered in at the triple-layered heel embroidery and special 75th-anniversary tongue tags. The diamond jubilee is celebrated again at the dubraes to complete the design.
