Where to Buy the Nike Air Foamposite One “Metallic Red”

Update 03.21.23 Official Nike.com imagery for the 2023 Nike Air Foamposite One “Metallic Red” has landed — and it comes with a twist. In place of the expected nubuck collars and forefoot overlays, the Swoosh has implemented a heavily-tumbled leather. They have also opted for a slightly more muted shade of red for the Foamposite shell.

Original Post First released back in 2012, the Nike Air Foamposite One “Metallic Red” quickly rose to popularity during an era that highly regarded red sneakers. It returned again in 2017 to less reception but was still a big seller for the Swoosh. Now it’s set to return again, with confirmation of its return coming from Complex’s own Brendan Dunne.

We were expecting to see an onslaught of General Releases after the silhouette’s collaboration with CDG, but since their release back in November, all has been quiet for the Posite One — for adults, at least. That’s set to change come Summer 2023, with the Nike Air Foamposite One “Metallic Red” expected to form part of the brand’s release schedule.
