Last year, Nike’s Fall footwear catalog was overhauled with a bevy of winterized Air Force 1 options that encouraged all-terrain wear, and water-resistant enjoyment. This year it appears we can expect much of the same, with another edition of the Air Force 1 Boot, this time linking up with CORDURA for a little extra protection.
Utilizing classic autumnal hues, the rugged release works mostly in black nubuck and CORDURA textiles, with trimmings worked in wheat. Rubber outsoles are in place of the traditional AF1 sole unit, with uppers constructed in all-out leather. Water-resistant tongues enable both flexibility and water-resistance, while 3M reflective Swoosh underlays enable low-light visibility. Completing the design is the addition of a thick rear pull and a rubberized ankle strap.
