2019 saw big shift to the Swoosh’s winterized wears, with Nike’s Fall footwear catalog overhauled with a bevy of GORE-TEX-tooled Air Force 1 options that encouraged all-terrain wear, and water-resistant enjoyment. This year, too, we’ve enjoyed a handful of new options, including a few releases of the new Air Force 1 GORE-TEX.
Looking past the debut Triple Black and Wheat/Gum staples, the silhouette’s next endeavor is a little bit more adventurous. Leather uppers of sail are met by tonal detailing at the ankle strap, tongue, liner, and rear pulls before a striking bright white Swoosh and outsole set off some serious contrast. The former is lined with 3M reflective piping for visibility, with its grey he appearing once more along the insole. Branding is kept tonal, too, with tongue debossing, strap molding, and ankle GORE-TEX stitching all following the lead of the upper to complete the design
