From their impending NBA collection to Summer’s streetball seasonal releases, the Uptown never seems to shy away from the sport that made it famous. More subtle than the aforementioned, the upcoming EMB pack serves up some low-key heaters. But although there doesn’t seem to be an overarching color thematic, the pairs all do come complete with Nike Basketball dubraes for consistency. This pair, which comes constructing in a mix of tumbled, smooth, and textured leathers, takes on Nike’s native Portland Trailblazers colors, and pairs it with an icy-translucent rubber outsole — a finish rarely seen in recent times. Tongue and heel branding is also ushered in in unique fashion, and the pair is complete with the aforementioned dubrae, here in iridescent and white.
