NBA Air Force 1 Lows Arrive with Upside-Down Logos and Metallic Gold Plating

Ever since Nike reconnected with the NBA, the duo has delivered a bevy of officially licensed options of some classic kicks. With the Cortez, and more so the Air Force 1, the world-renowned names have added their fair share of tweaks to the classics such as simple NBA insignias, team logos, and colorways — and even French colors to commemorate the first-ever overseas regular-season game. Their next up release — another edition of the “NBA Pack” Air Force 1 — looks to be their most experimental yet, with altered materials, added overlays, flipped branding, and metallic plating all featuring on this fashionable Air Force 1.

This particular release comes constructed in buttery tumbled cream-yellow leathers with plush mesh taking its place at the tongue. A bevy of additions — and some omissions — arrive across the board, with yellow textile coverings at the lateral heel, blue taping at the rear overlay, and metallic gold plating at the lateral Swoosh. The medial Check is absent in favor of a black mid-panel, while tongue and toe box branding is inverted. Completing the design is a white mid, and gum rubber outsole.

Take in an official look at the pair here below, and while you wait on their Nike.com release, be sure to check out our dedicated Nike Newspage for all things that go Swoosh.
