Available Now // Air Force 1 Low “82” Channels Two OG Air Jordan 1 Colorways
Looking back to go forward is often is the case for Nike and Jordan Brand, who once again pay tribute to their storied past on this upcoming collection which highlights two iconic silhouettes of the 1980s, the Air Jordan 1 and the Air Force 1. The collection is a crossover of sorts, with the Air Jordan 1 Mid and Air Force 1 Low paying homage to each other’s OG colorways. Here, it’s the Uptowns turn in celebrating it’s opposing silhouette, with a mismatch colorway that honors the OG Royal and Bred colorways from 1985.
For this GS Air Force 1 Low, it features uppers and overlays of tumbled black leather, while toes and rear overlays belong to the Red and Royal of the OGs. Like the previously-previewed Air Jordan 1 Mid, this too comes equipped with embroidered Checks and non-traditional mesh paneling at the midfoot and tongue, while its ankle “82” motif marks the debut of the original Air Force 1. The sole units channel that of the original Air Jordans — white mids with colored outs — as do the Nike Air-branded tongue tags to complete the design.
