Nike Air Force 1 Luxe “Dyed” Drops February 16
Fans of the Air Force 1 are never short of footwear options for Fall, with the Swoosh delivering everything from Flax-clad creations to completely retooled works in conjunction with GORE-TEX. The new Air Force 1 Luxe is the brand’s newest design to champion the season, arriving in much the same vein as the latter, with an overhauled design intended for treacherous weather — sans GORE-TEX materials. Now, after releasing in two gum-soled leather options, a new variation has appeared — this one rocking suede.
Following the just-revealed “Summit White” rendition, this new option appears to be an identical release — but a dyed version. Featuring a later upper with a washed-out purple dye that’s not too dissimilar in finish to that seen on this recent Orange Label Nike SB Dunk, the pair then presents suede overlays at the eyestays, double-layered Checks, and heels. The latter two arrive in a much darker, more muted purple hue tan the tonal finish applied to the former, and is matched at the outsole with a similar shade. Branding at the tongue, heel, and insole are different from your standard Uptown, too, with lettering, solo Swooshes, and cursive all featuring respectively. Outdoor-inspired laces seen on the first two drops are swapped out for classic flats, while contrast stitching at the midsole also returns to a traditional tonal finish.
