Official Looks at the Warrior-Themed “Windbreaker” Air Max 1

    Warrior wind neck-breaker.

Nike’s 90s resurgence continues on for the Air Maxseries, but this time it doesn’t come in the form of a forgotten silhouette from the era, but from the ludicrous attire once worn by pretty much everyone in the know in the 90s.

Said to be inspired by Nike‘s boisterous windbreakers of the late 80s and early 90s that almost exclusively sported vibrant colors, this Air Max 1 pack utilizes period-specific color combinations to great effect, with both pairings boasting some seriously 90s vibes. Adding to the tracksuit theme is “Sportswear” tabs on the lateral ankle, double-layered Swooshes and rotated tongue labels.

Following the first look, which revealed two wildly-colored pairs, today we get a look at the official image set for the tamer Warriors-colored pair in White/University Gold/Black/Game Royal. A release date for both pairs is still up in the air, but when official images hit the Nike server, you can expect a release to follow shortly, so keep it locked on our Nike Release Dates page for updates.
