The futuristic take on the classic AM-90 – who is celebrating its 30th birthday this year – the Nike Air Max 2090 continues to deliver new colorways to not only stay fresh in our minds but to ensure it’s here to stay for good. Changing pace from its previously abrasive colorways, this latest release presents a more subtle monochromatic palette that would suit any daily rotation. The tonal grey upper is comprised of a myriad of different materials such as mesh, semi-translucent synthetics, nylon, and hard plastic overlays. Underfoot sits a split-tone white and grey midsole that encapsulates the Air unit and displays the AM-90 inspired ridgelines, a grey rubber outsole provides the traction. Completing the design is the white outlined Swoosh and Air branding located on the medial, heel, and tongue.
