At the time of its unveiling, it was touted as having Nike’s tallest Air unit ever but was overshadowed just a year later by the Air Max 720. Still, the lifestyle trainer kept peppering in colorways, boosting its popularity and cementing a spot in the long-term plans of the Swoosh. Though it stepped aside for other silhouettes to shine in 2020, the sneaker has been quietly building a solid run of releases in the background. Now, as we dive deeper into the new year, it’s become more evident that the sneaker is well-and-truly back in business. This next-up sail, pink, and beige banger solidifies that statement.
Expected to be a ladies-exclusive release, the pair boasts a beautiful Spring-ready aesthetic, with sail uppers bright enough for the season without being too overpowering. Accents of muted pink and beige flow through from toe to tail, picking up the designated branding hits along the way. It’s then completed by a bright white midsole, fully translucent Air bubbles, and beige traction beneath.
