The Nike Air Max 270 Returns in a Fit-For-Fall Rendition

Thought the Air Max 270 had been shelved? So did we. With the array of Air Max 720 and Air Max 270 Reacts that have flooded the market in 2019, last year’s marquee Air Maxsilhouette has seemingly flown under the radar this year; it hasn’t been seen since Easter. But it’s making a comeback — with at least two colorways now — with this “Thunder Grey” Air Max 270 joining the recently-previewed “Solar Red” rendition.

The pair arrives in a perfect Autumn mix of deep grey-brown, Desert Sand and vibrant orange, the latter provide the pair’s biggest pop at the heel, as well as subtle shreds peering through the Thunder Grey is woven upper. Overlays and branding arrive in anthracite, while a darker jet black is bolstered on the outsole. Adding in a much-needed break in the palate is the desert sand midsole and heel overlay to complete the design.

Already available overseas, a US release date for the “Thunder Grey” Air Max 270 is still to be revealed, but you can expect pair to start rolling out at select Swoosh stockists and Nike.com over the coming weeks. Keep an eye on our Nike Release Dates Calendar for an update on the drop.
