Like the Air Max 90gears up for its big 30th birthday bash in 2020 — headlined by the return of the OG Infrared — we’re starting to see more of the silhouette sprinkled in throughout this leadup year. From the return of old favorites like 2006’s “Python” to new favorites like the recently-released “Viotech,” this year has been building up to something big. Now you can add another premium drop to that list, with this “Croc/Camo” Air Max 90 ready for the impending Fall season.

Decked out from toe-to-heel in faux animal fabrics, the pair ushers in a base layer of two different colored cowhide camos, both brown based, before being overlaid by olive croc-textured leather. A more murky shade of the leather rides the collar, while tortoise shell-like lower eyelets, ankle branding hit, and heel badges add an extra touch to the animal theme. Capping off the design is an unnerving translucent outsole, which in its own right looks like the jagged teeth of an open mouth croc, and presents a macabre blood-red beneath — a color that also appears on the tongue liner and insoles.
