Nike Air Max 90 “Mighty Ducks” is Making its Way to Market

1992’s The Mighty Ducks is a childhood icon — as is the Air Max 90, which makes this themed pair a must-have for anyone thirty and over. Calling on two symbolic 90’s idols that I look back on with heavy nostalgia, the Air Max 90 “Mighty Ducks” calls upon the film-come-NHL franchise’s iconic palate of Green, Yellow, Black and White across a sneaker made of smooth leather and mesh. The latter arrives as the sneaker’s base, coming in a clean white, and comes overlayed by barely-green tinted leathers. Stark black mudguard match the tongue, laces, and liners, and sets up the golden yellow accents to really pop at the profile AIR MAX motif, Air Unit, heel overlay and lower lacestays. Deep aqua hits the tongue branding, upper eyelets, and Swooshes, and it all sits atop a clean white midsole and tri-color outsole.
