Nike Air Max 90 “St. Patrick’s Day” Drops March 12th

It’s not often we see themed releases for St Patrick’s Day, with footwear brands often exhausted from a packed-full February. March is typically a hangover period, with All-Star Weekend, Valentine’s Day, Black History Month, and Chinese New Year stacking the month prior. For Nike, March is Air Max Month, too, often leaving the Irish celebration untouched. For 2021, though, it looks like we’ll be receiving at least two pairs, with matching a matching Air Force 1 and Air Max 90 “St Patrick’s Day” appearing today.

Here we take a look at the latter, a pair that boasts a St Paddy’s Day palette, with white mesh uppers, Swooshes, and midsoles joined by two green tones throughout. Shamrock green at the forefoot overlay, liner, and rear and ankle brand panels match that of the Air cassette underfoot, whilst everything else arrives is a darker, more saturated green shade. The mudguard arrives with the same debossed clover finish as seen on the Air Force 1, and again is finalized by metallic gold accents, found here at the aglets, profile Air Max branding, insoles, and Air supports.

Though a release date for the Nike Air Max 90 “St Patrick’s Day” has not yet been officially confirmed, you would expect to see these Airs hit select Swoosh stockists and Nike.com this March.
