This New Air Max 95 Shouldn’t Look this Good

The next 95 to surface is, well, weird.

When you look at the colors on paper — pale ivory, pink, orange, yellow, maroon and white — you’d immediately dismiss it. But somehow, some way, Nike has compiled a palate that works extremely well. Still, ten minuted into looking at the rendition, I’m intrigued.

This shouldn’t work, yet, I can’t stop looking away.

From a material standpoint, soft nubuck upper overlays of ivory, orange, pink, and yellow combine ivory mesh combine and a white midsole. The latter contains a rich maroon Air Max unit, a color which also pops up on the lateral Swoosh, and insole and heel branding. Completing the sneaker is its white tongue and lining, along with a pale ivory outsole.
