Earthy Air Max 95 has Hidden Colorful Form

Having been conceived by ACG’s Sergio Lozano, the Air Max 95 serves as somewhat of an unofficial extension to the ACG outdoor division. The fingerprints of the division are all over the silhouette, which is why you find that the Air Max 95 gets treated to outdoor-inspired makeover more than most, albeit mostly cosmetic. This next-up release is yet another in the long line of ACG-inspired takes for the sneaker, headlined by the murky, muted hues of the overlays. But it’s not all gloomy for the silhouette, which pairs some extravagant accents to brighten up an otherwise mundane release. Notably, the shimmering, futuristic metallic silver midsoles, mesh uppers, and liners add a showy finish — but that has nothing on the pair’s hidden form: a colorful 3M reflective upper.

You wouldn’t pick it from looking at it, but the muted blue, dark burgundy, and olive overlays flash up to primary colors under light. Add to that the reflective silver mesh uppers and 3M-flecked laces, and you’ve got yourself a pretty wild release; looks can be deceiving.

A release date for this Nike Air Max 95 PRM is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com over the coming weeks, if not days.
