Nike Air Max 97 Golf “Wing It” Appears in Alternate Navy Colorway

It has become apparent that the humble game of golf has become increasingly more mainstream, and as a result, has enabled Nike’s subdivision to deliver a bevy of special releases to feed its growth. Following the brand’s recent “Fearless Together” capsule, we’ll see the Air Max 97 Golf “Wing It” return — this time dressed in an alternate Navy colorway.

While classic mesh uppers remain, the pair opts for mudguards of thick navy canvas that allow for the gold embroideries to take a more intricate shape. Specifically, these pay homage to the winged sandals of Hermes, the Herald of the Gods who is also known for his passive power of luck — something that is sorely needed in the back pocket for most golfers, pro or otherwise. Above that, you’ll find overlays of smooth tonal leathers, with the tongue strip opting for a striking red hue. The two colors unite at the liner, insole, and outsole, all of which are delivered in deliberate patterns and graphics. The pair is ten complete with miscellaneous extras, including crisp white midsoles, translucent rubber outsoles, vibrant red midfoot Swooshes, and tonal embroidery at the rear pull.

Grab an official look at the navy Air Max 97 Golf “Wing It” just here below, and expect a release to arrive at Nike.com likely within the coming months. As always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.

In related news, Nike Golf has just unveiled a “Black Tie-Dye” Air Max 97 for the coming months.
