The almost 25-year-old silhouette of the Nike Air Max 97 has never really been out of favor with the giant Airhead fanbase. Further cementing the grip of its piece of the market is another colorway that’s set to pounce onto the shelves soon. Dubbed the Air Max 97 “Leopard”, this latest release continues a current trend of animalistic designs, much like the previously announced “Rainbow Snake”only a few days ago.

The attention to detail used on this newest AM97 is only matched by the expert execution of its construction resulting in a unique offering to anyone’s collection. The multi-textile upper uses nubuck, leather, and canvas to establish the unique lines of the silhouette with a tan leopard print covering everything aside from the leather wavey lines which culminates in a luxe aesthetic. Underfoot anchoring the design is an all-white rubber midsole complete with a fully translucent window to expose the tan cushioning tech, an on theme outer sole provides the traction when the rubber meets the road. Completing the look is the simple understated peach Nike branding situated on the medial, heel, tongue, and inners.
