The Nike Air Max 97 Gears Up in White and Grey for Summer

Just like the season itself, new options of the Air Max 97are coming in hot as we approach the summer season. It’s also celebrating its 25th anniversary, which means we’re seeing larger volumes of the model than normal. The newest to appear is unlike those we’ve recently seen, ditching hues in favor of monochrome white and grey construction, with silver reflective overlays, and added mini Swooshes at the forefoot for good measure.

It’s delivered in a breathable (and reflective) waffle mesh, with its mid panels also boasting a new chain link weave. Its overlays are more uniform in leather and 3M, the latter taking on a silver finish, with a third below in dark grey leather. The aforementioned forefoot Swoosh joins the tongue and mid-panel in gunmetal grey, with all three colors — white, silver, and gunmetal – coming together on the midsole, Air support, and outsole respectively. The pair is then completed by special rear ribbon pulls that feature a repeated Swoosh design.

A release date for this brand new Nike Air Max 97 is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com over the coming weeks.
