Just last week we spoke about how absent the Air Max 98 has been of late, obviously taking the back seat whilst Nike focuses on the big-ticket anniversary items in the Air Max 90 and Air Max 95. But we did notice that there were still a few seeping through to shelves, including a thug’s delight black and grey, a crisp “Iron Grey” edition and even a duo of tear-away takes. Now you can add another, with this pastel pair joining the ladies lifestyle lineup for Spring.

As expected for this time of year, the palate arrives in muted and soft tones to reflect the season, with Iced Lilac and white making up the bulk of the sneaker, leaving a peachy Crimson Tint to work in some warmth. The latter is found embroidered into the white mesh base at the quarter, along the continued overlay’s piping, Swoosh branding and filling the almost full-length Air unit underfoot. Light mauve works its way into prominence on the overlays and mudguard, with more subtle appearances on the liners and tongues, and the pair is capped off with classic black rubber outsoles sitting beneath crisp white EVA foam midsoles.
