Today’s Hornets-inspired Air Max 98saren’t the only hoops-flavored pair on the way, with this red and black Portland Trailblazers rendition recently surfacing.
It’s eye-catching black suede mudguards add significant contrast to the red-based pair, with adorns molded leather and textile uppers as its base. Broken down by further pops of black on the embroidery, lacestays, and Swooshes and highlighted by whites, the pair provides one last flash of red, stowed away in the sneaker’s Air unit. Completing the basketball theme is the orange textured leather forefoot overlays and Blazer-colored branding on the tongues.
A release date has not yet been set for these “Trailblazers” Nike Air Max 98s, but with the NBA postseason in full swing — and with the accompanying Hornets edition releasing today — you can expect a release to land on Nike.com very, very soon.
