A New Air Max 98 Appears in Sail, Sand and Purple

With the Air Max 98‘s 20th anniversary now in our rearview mirror, you’d expect the releases to cease. Apparently, nobody at Beaverton got that memo, with the silhouette looking to continue its good run in the market with some fresh new take for 2019. We’re already getting two big-logo 98s, with this Court Purple/Sail pair being the next to surface.
Soft sail leather covers a majority of the upper, with a tan suede mudguard providing a premium touch. Court purple and warm red accents provided pops of color from the heel tabs to the outsole, and it’s all sitting on top a classic white mid and black rubber outsole.
Watch out for this women’s-only Nike Air Max 98 to hit select Swoosh stockists like Foot District and directly from Nike.com on May 25th for $160.
