Leather-Built Air Max BW “Black Violet” Honors the OG

Nike will look to not only honor their OG Nike Air Max BW “Persian Violet” with a retro for the silhouette’s 30th anniversary in 2021, but will also be delivering an alternate “Black Violet” arrangement for the occasion.
Arriving in much the same style as the just-revealed retro release, this blackout option removes the bright white back-end and midsole of the OG and swaps it to black. Collars and upper eyestays which originally arrive in the titular purple hue, also switch to black. Color-wise, everything else remains true to the OG, though its construction differs with a leather base instead of mesh.
