Fand of Japan’s long-running Ultra Series will instantly recognize the blues and metallic silvers the fit-out both these Tuned Airs and vintage Ultra Men makeups from over the years. And while reds are on the pink side, it’s chromed-up upper, it’s hard not to make the connection — even the soft volt midfoot shanks and Air supports are reminiscent of the character’s illuminated glare.
