Snakeskin is in. We’ve seen the Swoosh swoop on the faux-textile in 2019, from the Faomposites to multiple Air Maxes and Nike Blazers, to the recently-previewed Air Force 1 for Fall. But the next silhouette to sport the skin is the most fitting for the audacious adornment; the Air Max Plus. Never too shy to take a walk on the wild side, this Tuned Air icon not only goes all-out with a full Snakeskin upper, but it does so in bold fashion, with a vibrant yellow shade scaling the scaly skin. Aside from the bold Tour Yellow tints, the pair remains relatively basic, arriving with stark all-black hits on the cage overlays, leather mudguards and heel overlays, plastic toe caps, liners, tongues, rubber outsoles, and midfoot shanks. Completing the design are classic white midsoles that house vibrant yellow Air supports, and standard Tuned Air branding hits on the heels and outsole.
