Nike Air Max Zephyr Appears in Black, White and Baby Blue

Originally hidden inside midsoles, then showcasing its full glory with Air Max 1, the Nike Air Max Zephyr imagines a future where “Air’’ is everywhere — and boy is it everywhere on the Zephyr.

The brand-new silhouette from Nike is lightweight and ultra-modern and employs Air like no other Air Max in history. Three Nike Air pods engulf the pair at the medial and lateral sides and tongue — as well as the epic 720 Air unit in the rear. But it’s not just the audacious use of Air that’s leading the charge, with organic overlays and ultra chunk that beefs up the silhouette. This next-up option reverts to classic black and white, though includes some very subtle pops of barely-there blue. White mesh uppers are anchored to a sole unit of white and translucent before stark blacks are layered in up top. The organic flowing nubuck and midsole plastics roll up and down and around the pair from toe to tail, all of which engulf glazes, midfoot Air bubbles, and rear overlays in the aforementioned light blue shade. Completing the design is a hint of blue at the pair’s Air support system and the silhouette’s signature warped Nike Air-branded insoles.

After debuting earlier this month, the silhouette’s newest colorway shouldn’t be too far behind — so you should expect to see a Nike.com release arrive in the coming weeks. Until then, enjoy a detailed look at the pair here below, and be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.
