Nike Air More Uptempo “TPU” Expecting Spring Release

After Supreme kicked off a seismic resurgence of the silhouette back in 2017, the Nike Air More Uptempo has enjoyed a long-standing tenure at the top of Nike retro hoops offering. In mid-2019, things started to slow, but throughout 2020 we began to see sprinklings of the silhouette arrive here and there — including the return of the OG Olympic and Black/White colorways. 2021 has again picked up in speed, with an ever-growing catalog of colorways new and old filling up the first few months of the year. The next on that list is this TPU-trimmed take in a simple white and yellow aggregate.

A perfect colorways for Spring or Summer, the mostly-white make works mainly with tumbled white leathers, though its signature AIR lettering arrives with a barely-there yellow tint. Surrounding that is a soft yellow trim to match the forefoot and rear Swooshes. The semi-translucent tongue tag arrives in a TPU finish, again in yellow, to complete the design.

A release date for this kids-exclusive Nike Air More Uptempo “TPU” has not yet been set, but it is likely that we’ll see these hit Nike.com around Spring.
