Nike to Bring Back the OG Air Penny 3 “Black/Royal” on November 20

Following the announcement of its revival in Eggplant form, the Nike Air Penny 3 is readying yet another retro colorway for return, 1997’s “Black/Royal” release.

The no-frills, all-business banger arrives almost entirely in black, with leathers, suede, and Foamposite shells reaching back from toe-to-tail across the upper. Penny’s Orlando Blue bounces in at the tongue and rear pull, as well as the splash on the outsole’s forefoot. Outsoles and rear Air cassettes return to black, while the latter houses a fully-translucent Air Bubble to match the clarity of the ankle badge resting above.
