Despite the specially themed releases of its 20th anniversary year in 2020, the Nike Air Presto had a relatively quiet birthday bash. Though releases banged, they were few and far between. 2021 has gotten off to a better start in terms of frequency, with a slew of simple color-blocked options touching down to start the year. From simple black and grey drops, the silhouette now arrives in a striking royal, a black and white option that evokes feelings of Fragment releases past.

The titular blue hue only hits the neoprene upper, midfoot Swoosh, and rear pull detail, while jet blacks make up most of the other accompanying aspects. Matte finishes at the cage, outsole, and liners are met with a gleam at the forefoot Swoosh embroidery and ultra-shiny toe cap — but all of that wouldn’t be as effective had it not been for the inclusion of the piercing white midsoles and lace set.
