The OKC-Colored Nike Air DSVM Releases in August
Unveiled as part of Nike’s newest conceptual footwear pack, Nike’s D/MS/X is — apart from being a mouthful to pronounce — is one of the brand’s most unique running projects to date. It is the culmination of Swoosh running designs from the brand’s storied past and ultra-futuristic present, and today we have our best look yet at all-new lifestyle silhouette, the Nike Air DSVM, yet heavily influenced by the brand’s historic performance DNA.
Two of the first colorways to arrive will be the “Mineral Teal” which mixes vibrant hues against dark tones, and a more minimal OKC-like White/Battle Blue option, which, like the previously unveiled Signal D/MS/X, pairs bones and white with colorful OKC-themed accent hits. It too sports overt lace cage overlays, translucent plastics, and open meshes, but the VaporMax edition introduces both leather and suede into the mix, found on the tongues and mid panels. Those sues panels also extend up to the ankle, and house Velcro straps for a tighter lockdown.
Both of these heavily performance-influenced Nikes are set to release at retailers across the globe this July. The “Mineral Teal” makeup available from today, July 13th, from Nike.com and Finish Line, with the White/Battle Blue take set to follow over the coming weeks.
