In recent times team swoosh has been hard at it the lab experimenting with bare-Air on many retro icons, most recently their efforts have been focused on the Nike Air VaporMax EVO silhouette. This latest announcement is coming in hot just weeks after its darker predecessor, see post here.
This latest release clearly drawing inspiration from past Air Max icons from the 93′-95 era, which some may say is the golden era of the AM line. The upper’s intricate design elements and lines have been established using a plethora of textiles such as leather, mesh, and nubuck. The predominately white hue acts as the perfect blank canvas to showcase the black mudguards, bronze medial overlay, black and grey swoosh, and navy blue to the black tongue. Underfoot sits a crisp white midsole featuring blue and grey segments which draws the eyes to the almost invisible transparent outer sole unit, completing the look is the strategic brand placing throughout.
