The Nike Air VaporMax Plus has seen a stellar return to form of late, with the retro-inspired silhouette getting back to its colorful roots after a sullen period of drab palattes. Naturally, the Fall/Winter season has forbidden the bare-Air silhouette from suiting up in color, but with eyes on Spring/Summer, it’s bringing back the bold with this Nike Air VaporMax Plus “Bubblegum”.
Much like the recently-revealed “Yolk” colorway, this Nike Air VaporMax Plus “Bubblegum” is void of any bold gradients or pattern work. Instead, the pair arrives from toe to tail in tonal pink hues. Everything from the neoprene upper to the plastic hardware, to the midsole and VaporMax bubble tint, arrives in pastel pink shades. The only let-ups? The singular Black Swoosh at the lateral ankle and tongue tag, TN-inspired badging at the booty, and 3M reflective detail down the tongue.
