Spring 2021 welcomed the return of the Nike Air VaporMax Plus after a short hiatus, with a slew of vibrant colorways filling up the calendar for the sunny seasons. As we head into Fall, the sneaker is still going strong, with yet another new option making itself available this month — this time in a striking “Chile Red” arrangement.

Void of any bold gradients, prints, or pattern work, the upper arrives from toe to tail in the titular red hue. Everything from the neoprene upper to the plastic hardware is covered, before the introduction of bold blacks at the tongue and Swoosh branding, heel pulls, and liners. A black-to-white gradient is tacked onto the midfoot shank, while white midsoles and translucent VaporMax Air units sit underfoot to complete the design.
