Nike Cosmic Unity “Amalgam” Arrives March 7th

Taking flight as the world’s premier performance hoops manufacture since the late 1990s, Nike Basketball has seen some of the weirdest and most wonderful technology. The next page in that manifest is the Nike Cosmic Unity, a sneaker that has already captivated sneakerheads and hoopers alike thanks to its wild design ethos, mixed material make, and hi-tech tooling. Now, as a follow-up to the debut “Green Glow” release on February 26th, comes the silhouette’s next-up pair, the colorful Nike Cosmic Unity “Amalgam”

Equipped with significantly more saturation than the debut “Green Glow”, the pair pulls in bright royal blue uppers, interwoven with fine volt thread that channels the thick warped threads above that encase it. Towards the rear, the recycled stain glass-like multi-color collage is found — even appearing through the midsole cut-outs at the heel. The confetti-finish is mimicked at the laces, too, while a more natural marble-like finish is placed upon the tongue tags and hi-gloss Swooshes. Ultra-light green sole units and crimped collars sandwich in the bulbous midsole and rear rise that’s colored in a hue similar to that found on the silhouette’s debut colorway.

A release date for the Nike Cosmic Unity “Amalgam” has been identified for March 7th in Asia, with other regions expected to stock it on or around that date for $150.
