Since it’s inception, the Nike Air More Uptempo has been associated with Scottie Pippen. He wore it through the infamous 72-10 Championship winning season and of course at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. And although no official connection was ever made between the Bulls champion and the classic silhouette, Nike is now confirming the association with this special Pippen PE.
It’s yet another colorway lined up for the More Uptempo in 2017 – some saying this has been overkill, me included (and I LOVE the More Uptempo), but I cannot pass up anything in a Bulls colorway.The special ‘PIP’ detailing is what turns this shoe into an instant cop for any hardcore Bulls fan.
