A second-tier offering is on the way for the Celtic star.
Kyrie has been Nike’s best selling signature shoe for a couple of years now, so we knew this day wouldn’t be too far away.
During yesterday’s Investor Day meeting in Portland, Nike announced that they’ll be releasing a new Nike Kyrie model at the $80 price point – a tier below his current Nike Kyrie 3 signature, which is priced at $120.
Kyrie is set for a secondary signature sneaker like his fellow Nike athletes LeBon, KD and Kobe
He will now follow in the footsteps of his fellow Nike athletes in Kobe Bryant (Venomenon, Kobe Mentality, Mamba Instinct), LeBron James (Soldier, Ambassador, Witness), and Kevin Durant (Trey 5) with a lower-tier signature shoe.
Apart from yesterday’s announcement, we have no further info at this stage – but we will be sure to keep you updated with any further developments right here on the House of Heat!
