Notoriously known for its fixation on innovation, Nike has built its name on the back of game-changing products. From the early Waffle Trainer days to the self-lacing shoes of tomorrow, Nike has been the brand leading the charge. But, despite the contact push forward in technology and sustainability, the brand has always honored its past. The brand’s new Nike Overbreak does just that, by blurring the lines between past and present. Now, after surfacing in the hot-commodity “Mars Yard” colorway and UNDERCOVER collaborations, we can expect to see a slew of GR drops follow. One of those will be this Nike Overbreak SP “Neptune Green”.
Arriving akin to the aforementioned Mars Yard, the pair presents in warming tan hues, only here they are leaning much more towards a golden yellow. From there, bright green Checks are inserted into the lowermost overlays and are matched in both hue and material and the heel. Oversized, brain-like React cushioning underfoot arrive in a very subtle yellow-to-bone gradient, with troves of black tread throughout, and the pair is completed by flecked outdoor-inspired laces.
