OG Post // After a customary hibernation period over Winter, Nike’s marquee retro Air Max model is back and brighter than ever, with this all-new patterned and perforated Nike Air Max 97 appearing online!

At first glance, the sneaker appeared to form part of Nike’s impending Chinese New Year collection, with a pattern that mixes in traditional Chinese hues Closer inspection revealed that the pattern is indistinctive and features a circular wheel of Nike branding motifs from the brand’s past. This is highlighted best on the rear heel pulls and insoles, but is also visible on the patterned overlays and mid-panel. The remainder of the sneaker is done up in a crisp white, bar the solitary black overlay and accents, with the leather mudguard arriving with pinpoint perforations. The white sole unit is struck with dual black stripes and a teal Nike badge, while black Air supports and matching-colored pull tabs complete the design.
