Let’s be real, the Nike Shox line is associated with pushas, slingers, and street hustlers — especially in my home country of Australia. But in a surprising turn of events, 2019 has seen the shock-spring tech transform into some kind of gentrified fashion icon. Part of that belongs to the all-new ladies-exclusive Nike Shox Enigma, which has been introduced to the market this year amongst retro models like the R4 and BB4. Now, the silhouette ups its elegance levels even more, thanks to a crisp “Ghost Aqua” offering.

Airy aqua covers the uppers in tonal fashion, and comes trimmed with reflective paneling on the ankle and heel, and overlayed by broad, sweeping white mudguards. Adding an extra touch of elegance are perfectly placed pops of tan-gold, hitting the upper eyelets and Shox spring system, and the pair comes complete with a crisp white outsole.
