The Nike Space Hippie 04 aside, Nike’s marquee “trash transformed” lineage has been as quiet as a mouse in a pillow factory. Be it material availability or purposeful direction from the Swoosh, the aforementioned silhouette has by far been the recycled line’s most frequent performer. Now another is on the way for the Spring/Summer season, with the Nike Space Hippie 04 “Aqua” appearing today.

As the name suggests, a bright blue-green finish is applied to the woven upper, with marled blues and greens working the length and width of the sneaker. It’s complemented by vibrant aqua tones on the rear pulls, tongue tags, and laces, while stitched Swooshes opt for a dark charcoal finish. That finish is mimicked on the heel and toe traction that rests beneath an off-white Crater Foam midsole, and the pair is completed by metallic silver branding at the tongue and rear pull.
